Kotak i-bank head Falguni Nayar quits, Ekambaram takes over

Investment bank Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Managing Director Falguni Nayar has resigned, and in-house Shanti Ekambaram will replace her, the company said here today.
"Falguni Nayar has decided to pursue an entrepreneurial venture. However, she will continue to serve as an advisor with the group," Kotak Mahindra Capital said in a statement.
The group has appointed Kotak Mahindra Bank president for wholesale banking and Kotak Mahindra Capital Company director Shanti Ekambaram to look after the investment bank.
Additionally, C Jayaram, Kotak Mahindra Bank joint managing director and Kotak Securities director will oversee Kotak Institutional Equities.
