NIFTY
Current: 5,505 (Feb futures: 5,518);
Target: NA
A swing session on settlement could push the index down till either 5,400, or pull it back till 5,600. Stop-loss long futures at 5,465 and short futures at 5,550. Book profits on the prior recommendation of long 5,500p (26) and long 5,700c (1). A long strangle of February 5,400p (4) and long February 5,600c (4) will work if the session starts volatile.

STATE BANK OF INDIA
Current price: Rs 2,253;
Target price: Rs 2,175
The stock has been sold down on huge volumes and it test support at around Rs 2,225-2,235. If Rs 2,225 is broken, it may fall till Rs 2,175. Keep a stop at Rs 2,280 and short. Add to the position between Rs 2,200 and Rs 2,220. Book profits at Rs 2,175.

Current price: Rs 471;
Target price: Rs 485
The stock has good support at Rs 465-468 and it could bounce till Rs 485 on a recovery. Keep a stop at Rs 465 and go long. Add to the position between Rs 475 and Rs 480. Book profits above Rs 485. If Rs 465 is broken, it could fall till Rs 455.
